Kitchen & Bathroom Renovations

From Plumbing Repairs to Cabinetry & Finishes

Re-designing a new kitchen or bathroom in an existing space can be challenging. Our experienced team works with our cabinet designers and in-house drafting department to make sure you are getting the most out of your space, and that it accommodates your home improvement needs and budget.

A couple things to think about and consider when planning
your kitchen or bathroom remodel:

Saskatoon & area home renovations and home additions

Removing walls is a popular choice when renovating, but there is a list of questions we need answered before this can happen:

  • Is it a load-bearing wall?
  • If it is a two-story home, is there duct work and plumbing in that wall to service the second story?
  • What is involved in relocating existing electrical and vents to a new location?
  • You will need to refinish the ceilings and change flooring once the wall is removed
  • Is there original hardwood or other materials that will be hard to match for these areas?
Keeping your existing plumbing locations, whether in a bathroom or kitchen renovation, is always the more cost-effective option. However, don’t let this keep you from creating the space you really want! We can often change these locations with ease, which also holds true for basements as well. Just because your concrete is poured, doesn’t mean we can’t change the location of the plumbing!
Often when your flooring is being changed, your baseboards need to also be removed and replaced. You might want to consider going with a taller baseboard to cover up any damage to the existing baseboard, and possibly avoid the need to repaint walls.
With a bathroom renovation, you are limited to what you can fit through your doorways. So, before you start ripping out your tub, look into the available 3-piece and 4-piece fibreglass options, or just updating the tile surround, which can give your bathroom a fresh new look without the need for a new tub installation.
