Our Process

Step 1

Consultation

Our first step is to have a meeting where we gather your information and what kind of renovation you have in mind.  The following items will be discussed at the initial consultation:

  • Your contact information including: name, address, phone, email, and availability
  • A clear understanding of your project and what you are trying to achieve
  • Budget and financing options, if needed
  • Explanation of the next steps, including any additional information that we might need from you
  • Scheduling a site visit, if needed

Step 2

Design

The second step of our process is to take your vision and create a set of preliminary drawings for your renovation project. Our team, along with our in-house drafting department, will work with your vision and budget to provide a preliminary drawing at no charge.

Step 3

Estimating Details

Next, we will review the scope of work and drawings, discussing the list of construction materials, products and services required for your project in detail. 

We have a large showroom in our facility to make selections, eliminating the need to drive all over. However, if our showroom options aren’t quite what you were looking for, we also work closely with several different businesses in Saskatoon, giving you plenty of options for your project! 

This step allows you to know exactly what is being included in your project’s estimate so there won’t be any misunderstanding moving forward.

Step 4

Estimate Review

Our fourth step is to present a detailed estimate, including all the information compiled through the first three steps of our process.  We strive to complete this in a timely manner, so your trust in our team and process remains intact.

Step 5

Contract

Once you have reviewed and approved the detailed estimate, we require your sign-off on all the paperwork including: Contract, Drawings, and Selections.  A copy of all signed documents will be given to you for your reference.  A 50% deposit will be required at this time to secure and schedule your project.

Step 6

Construction Meeting

Once we have received your deposit, a meeting will be scheduled with your salesperson, our site supervisor, and our purchasers to discuss your project in detail so that all materials get ordered right away.  

Our site supervisor will create a work schedule for your project that your salesperson will share with you once completed. We appreciate you trusting us with entering your home, and this schedule allows you to know when to expect tradespeople to be there.

Step 7

Construction

Our final step is the best step of all – construction! Both your salesperson and our site supervisor will be there every step of the way, from the start of construction to the final walk-through at the end of the project. They are always available to help answer any questions or concerns you might have.
